A woman has revealed how she’s overcome her struggles with teen alcoholism by turning twenty.
Beth Metcalfe, 20, has been an alcoholic for five years, just one of the THOUSANDS of teen alcoholics in Britain.
‘I’ve had at least one drink every day since I was 15, you pretty much have to when you live in Hammersmith,’ Beth told us.
Beth didn’t seek help until she was 19 when her GP diagnosed her with teen alcoholism. However, it wasn’t until she turned 20 that she beat her condition.
‘I’m still an alcoholic but it’s okay when you’re a proper adult, so I’m in a sweet spot with it right now,’ said Beth.
She plans to celebrate her personal success tonight with a bottle of wine or three.
