The United States of America has threatened to return James Corden to the United Kingdom in a display of aggression that could be considered an act of war.
Finally beginning to tire of Corden’s act, the US has begun talking about returning the ‘comedian’ to his place of birth.
‘There’s only so many times you can pretend to be surprised that a man can sing a bit,’ one American told us. ‘His act is wearing thin and we think it’s time we return James to the UK. We’ve endured enough.’
But the UK has other ideas.
‘This is an outrageous case. We gave James Corden to the US…as a gift. For them to return him now would be a grave insult and could lead to war between our two nations,’ said one member of the UK government.
The Corden-standoff could become crucial during trade negations between the US and the UK. It could even see the UK rejoin the EU to avoid having to accept the return of James Corden.
‘I’m a Brexiteer through and through, but if it means the return of James Corden I’d rather remain,’ confessed Tommy Gammon.
