A night of protests that became marred by violence is actually a pretty standard night out in Bristol, residents have confirmed.
Protestors clashed with police, leaving twenty officers injured and multiple vehicles damaged in what’s being described as a ‘shameful’ night for the city of Bristol.
But residents have a different opinion, they’re calling it a pretty standard night out around Bristol.
‘Thousands of people swarming around, a little violence and some vehicular carnage? I don’t see what’s so shameful about that. That’s your typical weekend night out around Bristol. I don’t know what goes on in other cities but I don’t understand why people are making such a big deal about this,’ said Bristol resident Esa Millington.
‘I hope that the rest of the country doesn’t see this and think this is all Bristol has to offer. We have cider too,’ Haider Benjamin informed us.
Bristol will now clean up all the damage caused and be ready for another night of carnage come Friday.
