A struggling encyclopedia salesman is certain that this current internet fad will die out soon and that sales of encyclopedias will boom once again.
Kevin Collins, 44, is clinging on to the hope that the popularity of the internet is just a fad that will die out soon and that people will once again demand their knowledge come from a properly researched, well-edited source.
‘The internet has put a real dent in my sales for the last twenty years or so. It won’t last though. It’s all fake news and smut. That’s not what people want.
‘People want their information to be properly researched and edited before it’s put in uneditable physical copy for the low price of £200 a book,’ Kevin insisted.
Kevin also confidently predicts the return of high-quality journalism, low-quality porn and Andy’s Records.
