Prince Andrew is set to take a vacation after a difficult couple of months, according to a statement made today.

‘This has been the darkest period of my life and I need to take time to reconnect with those closest to me,’ the statement began.

‘That is why I, and my family, have decided that I will be going on an extended vacation soon. I’m going to Tampa with the kids.’

Prince Andrew will be sure to work up a sweat on holiday as temperatures are expected to hit 26°C.

He might find it a struggle to find anywhere to eat though as Pizza Express has yet to reach the USA.

‘He could always have a hot slice flown over, like his other favourite treat,’ suggested one commoner.
