Prince Andrew’s legal team have revealed that he is hoping to get off on a technicality, rather than his usual technique of getting off on an underage girl.
Lawyer Andrew Brettler has claimed that the court lacks the jurisdiction to prosecute Prince Andrew because his accuser has spent the last two decades living in Australia and cannot prove she resided in Colorado, as her complaint stated.
“This is a fantastic bit of luck for us,” Brettler told us. “It’s always easier to take advantage of a young case before it matures into a full-blown trial.”
Prince Andrew has expressed his relief that he’s likely to get off on a technicality, without any real cause for a sweat.
“It’s quite thrilling to get off on a technicality. Not as thrilling as getting off on a minor, but still pretty spectacular nevertheless. I was worried for a moment that I might have a bit of a comeuppance,” he said.
Randy Andy is expected to celebrate in the Woking branch of Pizza Express, as is tradition.
