A particularly stupid group of horses are treating intestinal worms with COVID-19 vaccines, rather than the proper medication.

Intestinal worms can be a serious problem for horses, leading to digestive issues and even death if left untreated.

Fortunately, there are medications such as Ivermectin which can de-worm horses incredibly effectively; however, many horses are starting to turn their long noses up at traditional medication.

“Ivermectin is fake news. That’s just what the establishment wants us to take. If it cured worms, how come I took some and then got worms just two years later? It doesn’t make any sense,” said Mr Ed, a prize-winning horse.

These horses have instead taken to injecting themselves with COVID-19 vaccines to cure their worm problems.

“My entire family has started taking COVID-19 vaccines, and the ones who are still alive are doing great,” said Mr Ed.
