A multi-billionaire has revealed their concern that they might become a regular billionaire if the economy isn’t restarted soon.
With the coronavirus lockdown causing a crash in the stock market akin to the Great Depression of the 1930s, one billionaire has stepped forward to voice their concerns.
‘I was worth $8.9 billion when this whole thing began. Now I’m only worth $5.6. If things keep going this way, I might only have $1.5 billion to my name by the end of the year.
‘I’m used to a certain kind of lifestyle and I don’t like the thought of having to buy one less mega-yacht a year and making other significant cutbacks. You don’t know how embarrassing it would be to me to become a run-of-the-mill billionaire instead of a multi-billionaire,’ he told us.
The rest of the world, many of whom have lost their jobs and face an uncertain future at best, has agreed to run a GoFuckYourself campaign in an effort to raise awareness of how they feel about billionaires and their economy.
