Michael Gove has denied reports that he hosted a raucous BYOC party at his home during lockdown last year.
The UK ambassador to Columbia has denied allegations that he held a BYOC party during lockdown despite dozens of pictures, screenshots of party invites and the fact he wore a t-shirt that read “Yes, I’m having a BYOC party!” that day in parliament.
“These allegations are completely false,” said Gove, sniffing repeatedly. “I would never break any rules that weren’t related to an improper relationship with a certain media mogul.”
Pictures indicate that at least six people besides Gove attended the party. This is considered a surprise as most people were previously unaware he had that many friends.
“I guess cocaine really does negatively affect your judgement,” said one man on the street.
