James Corden has been released by two men who kidnapped him after they spent just five minutes with him inside a car.

Corden was bundled into the vehicle by two unidentified men while he was on a morning stroll outside his LA home. It’s thought that they planned to hold the ‘comedian’ hostage and ask for a reward.

However, just five minutes into the getaway, Corden proved so annoying that the kidnappers abandoned their plan entirely.

‘I’d been talking to them constantly and that seemed to put them on edge. Then I started singing at them and the driver slammed on the breaks and they both ran off. It was their vehicle as well!’ exclaimed the TV host.

Police are now searching for the two men. There are concerns that both of them could be suffering from mental trauma after their horrific ordeal.

‘We want them to know they’re not in any trouble. They had a bad day and we want to help them,’ said the Chief of the Los Angeles Police Department.
