A batch of home-brewed wine has been left to age to perfection for about three days, it’s emerged.
With the need to drink A LOT of wine fast approaching, home-brewer Michael Finney is still taking the time to let his latest batch of wine age to maturity.
“It’d be too frisky to drink right now,” he told us, while the vat bubbled away next to him.
“Winemaking is a very delicate and complex process. You can’t rush it at any stage. That’s why I like to take my time.
“Three days should be enough though, you don’t want the wine to stew either.”
Michael assures us that the wine will be perfectly fine to drink and stronger than any wine you could buy in a store.
“And you’ll get your eyesight back within a couple of hours, guaranteed.”
