Iconic writer and director David Lynch has blasted the entire Brexit narrative as ‘difficult to follow and impossible to understand.’

The twisted mind behind such work as ‘Twin Peaks’, ‘Mulholland Drive’ and ‘Blue Velvet’ has revealed that even he can’t wrap his mind around the Brexit process.

‘I’ve never seen a story told in this manner before. The narrative structure is unconventional, to say the least. The characters are constantly changing. It’s difficult to follow and impossible to understand,’ said the creator of ‘Eraserhead’.

‘I like to call my works “dream logic”. I guess Brexit is more “nightmare logic” or something,’ he concluded.

With David Lynch being left unable to understand Brexit, what hope is there for the rest of us?
