Boris Johnson today revealed that he suffers terrible itching when he wears natural fibres but that, when it comes to duvets and pillows, he finds he can easily tolerate feathers and he’s actually rather fond of duck down.

‘I can’t stand cotton or silk but I can stand down,’ Boris told us.

He’s quite happy to make this personal revelation but he still doesn’t like being asked how many children he has, for some reason.

‘Pick a number between one and a hundred,’ was his only response.

Sad to say, he’s still the PM of UK PLC (now shortly expected to go into receivership, as US ‘investors’ circle, rubbing their hands in glee)
