Prime Minister Boris Johnson will hold an emergency COBRA meeting tonight, ostensibly to discuss rising energy costs.

The COBRA meeting will take place at 10 Downing Street at 6:45 pm and is being described as a “work event” that could last into the early hours of the morning.

Invites to the COBRA meeting were sent out this morning. The prime minister will be in attendance, as well as his wife, dozens of their friends, party advisors, and select cabinet members.

Johnson plans to use the COBRA meeting to test out a piece of psychology he’s recently read.

“I’ve done some research and, apparently, the mind can better remember things while it listens to music. So, I have my ABBA records on standby,” he said.

Boris Johnson has been listening to a lot of ABBA recently, his favourites include “Money Money Money”, “Gimme Gimme Gimme” and “SOS”.
