Prime Minister Boris Johnson has promised the nation that he’ll host his next party at Barnard Castle rather than 10 Downing Street.
With news breaking that Johnson hosted a party at 10 Downing Street while Britain was supposed to be under lockdown, the prime minister has promised it won’t happen again.
“It won’t happen again, I promise,” he said, rolling his eyes. “I’ll host it at Barnard Castle or whatever if it’ll keep you lot quiet.”
The original party took place on November 23rd 2020, while the nation was under strict instructions to keep social bubbles small.
But the Conservative Party insists the shindig fell within lockdown guidelines. It has also denied rumoured drug use at the party.
“We were merely testing our noses. I had to test mine quite a lot,” said Michael Gove.
