Boris Johnson has claimed that he is probably just going to have a quiet one this weekend, although he followed that statement with a wink and a nod.
The prime minister is, by now, a notorious party animal – even hosting numerous parties during what was supposed to be a Covid lockdown.
Which is probably why he followed his claim of a quiet weekend with a wink and a nod.
“A party, this weekend? Not me squire. There definitely won’t be another rager around mine on Saturday, if you catch my drift.
“And you certainly shouldn’t bring your own booze, drugs and cake around the back of 10 Downing Street if you want a good time.
“No. I’m probably just going to have a quiet one this weekend,” said Johnson, slipping us a wink, a nod and an official invitation.
