Boris Johnson married his future ex-wife Carrie Symonds in a small ceremony at Westminster Cathedral on Saturday, it’s emerged.
The prime minister and his bride plan to have a bigger ceremony next summer if they’re still together by then.
‘The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. It was probably my favourite wedding so far,’ said Johnson, now on his third marriage.
It’s believed that there were only thirty guests invited to the wedding, meaning that most of Boris Johnson’s children couldn’t attend.
Carrie Symonds, will be changing her name to Carrie Johnson. By the time all the paperwork has gone through to change her name on her passport, driving licence and bank accounts, it’ll likely be time to change it back.
However, Boris Johnson insists that this marriage is built to last.
‘I can’t afford another divorce or another batch of child support fees,’ he told us.
