Boris Johnson has claimed that he’s seen no evidence of MPs plotting against him being blackmailed, although he did admit he’s been walking around with his eyes closed all week.
The prime minister is facing calls to quit from members of his own party over the lockdown party scandal and a new furore is brewing after a Conservative MP accused Boris Johnson of blackmailing MPs to keep them in line.
“He said he’d release the photos of me doing lines of cocaine off a hooker’s arse. It’s a bit rich because it all took place at one of his parties,” one unnamed MP told us.
But Johnson has categorically denied seeing any evidence of blackmail or wrongdoing.
“The key is to keep your eyes closed. Then you can’t see anything. It makes it difficult to get anything done but, so far, no one seems to have noticed any change in my work output,” said Johnson.
Johnson has advised any MPs who feel threatened to go to the police. The police, of course, won’t be able to investigate any of the allegations though as they all happened in the past.
