Blackburn Rovers fans who refused to be vaccinated against COVID-19 could be punished with tickets to watch Burnley.
With COVID-19 rife in the Blackburn with Darwen area, local politicians are having to become creative in incentivising people to get the vaccine.
The latest proposal would see non-vaccinated people from Blackburn forced to visit Burnley and attend their football games, something no self-respecting Blackburnian would ever want to do.
‘The stench of incest in Burnley is thicker than oatmeal. It quickly becomes difficult to breathe. I had one friend who moved to Burnley for work and he grew four extra toes in a week,’ said one scared Blackburn Rovers supporter.
Burnley FC has agreed in principle to the proposal and it would almost certainly double their typical attendance figures.
‘It doesn’t help that a lot of our fans have multiple arses, so they take up a lot of seats,’ said Alan Pace, Burnley FC Chairman.
