The Australian Border Force has revealed that it’s signed tennis greats Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal to protect the nation from unwanted intruders.
Federer and Nadal signed up last week, went through a vigorous three-day training course and have been on the job ever since.
“We both decided that the time was right to take a break from tennis and experience other forms of work,” said Federer.
Nadal agreed, “Being part of the Australian Border Force is a week-long dream for me. The ability to hold other people’s careers and lives in your hands is very stimulating.”
The pair have been working side by side over the last few days, and have already turned away at least one person trying to get in the country.
It’s expected that Federer and Nadal will gracefully retire from the Australian Border Force within the next few days.
“We’re getting too old for this shit,” said Federer.
